TEAM BARBAZAN
...as diverse as the place we cultivate.
CURIOSITY.PASSION.EXPERTISE
Our team is as diverse as the place we run. That we do natural preservation, farming, art and research is because it grew by the people that build this place, since 2020. The diverse set of skills that come together make Barbazan a transdiciplinary workspace.

My role in Barbazan is to maintain cohesion and not lose sight of the big picture. I studied design and work as an illustrator , art director and cultural creator. I am a florist and a self-taught botanist and mycologist. My place in Barbazan is between the plants and the guests we host in residencies. My motivation is to build bridges and to create an open space were diversity thrives and we all can learn from it.

My role at Barbazan is as a viticulturist and chef, where I provide the essential fuel for our community while using my mathematics background to bring logical thinking to our daily operations. I’m most at home balancing this mental precision with hard physical work in the fields and the kitchen to keep everyone well-supported.

I am a choreographer, dancer, and community practitioner. My work combines conceptual precision with physical intensity, moving between dance, performance, and social intervention —often site-specific, extending beyond conventional art space. I feel a strong urge to build bridges across the urban-rural divide, and to co-create spaces that go beyond the experienced.
